Colorado lawmakers to consider state amphibian

The Reptile Report - Denver Post- Colorado lawmakers are considering a bill that would make the western tiger salamander the official state amphibian.

The measure was drafted by students, who have enlisted the support of Denver Democrat Rep. Angela Williams to carry the measure. The students plan to bring the critters to the Legislature to garner support.
