Flying Snake Species Furthers Land Bridge Theory between Sri Lanka and Southern India

On the Web - The Sri Lankan flying snake (Chrysopelea taprobanica), a species previously believed to be endemic only to Sri Lanka, has been repeatedly sighted in southern India. This substantially furthers a theory that the two areas were once connected by a land bridge that was submerged as the oceans rose in around 5000 BC.
