Hope for Threatened Garter Snake

On the Web - The narrow-headed gartersnake (Thamnophis rufipunctatus) is a threatened species.  In 2007, the Phoenix Zoo received a small population of wild-caught animals in hopes of developing a conservation and release program.  In July of 2014, a four-year old female gave birth to 18 healthy offspring.
