Invisible Madagascar: Why is This Hotbed of Biodiversity Overlooked?

On the Web - Madagascar is an amazing location, an island containing 5% of the world’s biodiversity on .4% of the world’s landmass.  While local and global programs have improved substantially over the years, the island is still under-protected, under-researched, and without a lot more work, countless species may go extinct or be lost to science before they are ever discovered.
