Varanus.net - Here is an interesting discussion about how different behaviors are observed within the same species of monitor based on their captive status.  Wild caught monitors are sometimes referred to as “insane” because they don’t behave in the same expected ways their captive bred counterparts do.  Is that a fair assessment?
