Arachnoboards - An article from 2009, but one that remains relevant, about the hysteria surrounding speculation about the supposed 100,000 Burmese pythons living in the Florida everglades and the hunt that ensued (and continues) in an attempt to eradicate them. Tom Crutchfield is interviewed, giving his take on the misconceptions and scare tactics being spread by the media and scientists’ preposterous predictions that these invasive pythons would move north, destroying the ecosystem by eating everything in their path.
