UNC Biology Professor Discovers Silver Boa

On the Web - UNC Professor Graham Reynolds recently led a team in the discovery of a new species of boid snake in a remote corner of the Bahamian Archipelago. The team named the new species the Silver Boa (Chilabothrus argentums), and it is considered critically endangered. This is the first new species of boa to be discovered in situ in the Caribbean since the 1940s.
