A Long-Lived Snake

Facebook - Dave Jensen of Uncle Dave’s Reptile Page recounts his purchase of a pair of juvenile Pueblan milk snakes in 1989. He bred the pair and the female consistently produced eggs and later passed away at twelve years old. The male lived to be almost 30 years old, passing away this February. That is an amazing lifespan for any snake, and was a palpable loss for Dave, who had owned the snake for half of his life. Read more by clicking the big green arrow below.
