YouTube - Zachary Loughman, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Biology (Zoology/Ecology), Zoo Science & Applied Conservation Coordinator at West Liberty University. He has discovered, identified, and named ten new crayfish species in North America and has a species named in his honor (Cambarus loughmani). Dr. Loughman currently teaches Herpetology and Herpetoculture, and it very well may be the only Herpetoculture class taught at a University in the states. West Liberty University has a collection of over 200 reptiles and Dr. Loughman has a personal collection of around 60 reptiles. On this episode of From the Ground Up he will talk about crayfish, reptile husbandry, and the future of the pet trade.
