The Reptile Report - This is Caesar, a 12-year-old rhinoceros iguana owned by Dani Trussell. A few months ago Caesar injured the very end of his toe. It started as a minor issue but then quickly became infected and spread to his legs, shoulders, and spine. The septic lesions that formed around his leg resulted in a full amputation of the front right leg.

Dr. Todd Driggers and his team at the Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic of Arizona were able to create a prototype wheelchair to help him regain strength and learn to walk again. They are also currently 3D printing a more sturdy solution as he is strong and has learned how to knock over his wheels with his daily adventures.
