Komodo Dragon Gives Birth to Parthenogenetic Babies

Facebook - A female Komodo dragon at the Chattanooga Zoo gave birth to three parthenogenetic babies, which has been proven via DNA testing. Parthenogenesis is a type of reproduction in which a female develops an embryo without male fertilization. This is an important step toward Komodo dragon conservation.
