The Reptile Report - Personalities- A Media Resource

My name is Chad Brown and I have been keeping and breeding reptiles for over 25 years. I have bred over 75 different species, including all types of snakes (boas, pythons and colubrids, all non-venomous), lizards, and geckos. I am also a long time aquatics hobbyist.

I played for 15 years in the NFL as an All-Pro linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.

I also spend time coaching and developing football players from youth to elite college players.

Since retiring from football, I have daily involvement in a number of business ventures (along with my partner Robyn Markland) including The Reptile Report, ShipYourReptiles.com and Pro Exotics Reptiles.

TheReptileReport.com aggregates news and discussion from around the reptile, amphibian and invertebrate worlds. It is a valuable site that helps you stay current with over 100 different reptile forums and news sources. We are working to make The Reptile Report the central destination for the online reptile, amphibian and invert worlds.

ShipYourReptiles.com is an online shipping interface for (non-venomous) live reptiles and amphibians. We provide the packaging, knowledge and support for hobbyists and businesses alike to safely and responsibly ship live reptiles and amphibians around the country. We have shipped over 250,000 live reptiles successfully, we are the industry leader in reptile shipping.

I have extensive media training and experience, both in mainstream media and reptile specific media.

My reptile businesses work to support the political lobbying arm of the reptile industry, including the organizations USARK, PIJAC and US Herp Alliance.

I have published multiple reptile husbandry articles in Reptiles Magazine and have appeared as a guest on a variety of reptile radio programs, including Herp Nation Radio and Urban Jungles Radio.

Robyn and I did a recent interview that covered some of our Pro Exotics history, there is some quick background information available there.
