USARK Action Alert: FWS seeks NEPA exclusion

USARK - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is looking to make getting animals listed on the Lacey Act a much easier task with a few loopholes.  They are looking to eliminate the due process portion and remove the environmental impact requirements. That means they do not have to prove that an animal is dangerous as an invasive to the environment to add it to the Lacey Act.  The Lacey Act controls interstate sales and transport of animals as well as ownership.

USARK needs us to help stop this!  There is a letter writing campaign started and you can get all the links to submitting your objection online after the jump.
