Youngster Makes a Difference with Conservation Efforts

The Reptile Report - Avalon Theisen, founder of the non-profit Conserve It Forward, will be making an appearance at Brooker Creek Preserve on February 23 at 10:30 a.m.

Theisen will join Brooker Creek in the Family Herpetology Series II: Frogs presentation, which focuses on frogs and their crucial role they play in the environment.

According to the Conserve It Forward Facebook page, Theisen discovered her love for the environment and all its inhabitants when she was just 9 years old.

In 2010 she decided to start the non-profit organization, which promotes education and awareness through projects and presentations.
